Anyone using Clutchfans the same way others use reddit?

    I really don't visit reddit, but I know that's where most of the trending internet news get their start. That said, I find I'm still pretty hip to the times :cool: thanks to Clutchfans.

    Clutchfans' being pretty much my pop culture news aggregator for the past few years. This is where I find out about McDonald hero and Gangam Style first. Anyone else pretty much only come to Clutchfans instead other sites to find out what's going on in the world first?

    I spend a lot of time lately in D&D

    Check hangout for stories of interest or to add something I found on the web.

    Glance at Astros forum to check on our minor league guys
    Glance at Texans forum to see if any news

    Check GARM to see if any new cyberx, Doc Rocket, or BimaThug posts

    Glance at unsorted to see new gifs

    And then finally go back to D&D and stare at sexy Ted Cruz photos

    Yeah, Clutchfans is definitely quick and has been for years now on any b-ball news, big events, sports in general, and culture/ politics. If it's relevant it will quickly create a discussion on CF and you can discuss it with people you are really familiar with.

    I use twitter for all of my news needs. Most of the stuff breaks on twitter before anything else, and I usually find it the most reliable. The Hangout is the spot for discussion about most of it though for me.

    I'm the opposite. I used to be heavy on ClutchFans but now I spend A LOT more time on reddit. Nothing against ClutchFans at all though as I still visit daily.

    I'm pretty much the same way. I still get on Clutchfans pretty much daily, but don't live on it like I used to. I'm scared to open some of these "spoilers" and threads at work since there's no telling what kind of mess people are posting in them, so that doesn't help. lol. As for "breaking news", most of the automotive, science, etc. stuff I'd like to read about doesn't ever make it on here. This was and will always be my Rockets-related source, though, and that's really all I care about.
