I'm curious if anyone watched, because I missed it. There is a guy on that show named Tony Kornheiser (sp?) who was very critical of YM earlier this season, and I'm curious what he had to say. Raven
I saw it. Wilbon opened the show with, "Tony, i've got 3 words for ya. Yao F. Ming." They talked about him as the first topic. Tony basically took back everything he said about him in the past, admitted that he was wrong, etc. He then wanted to move on to the next subject, but there was still a full minute left to talk about Yao. From there Wilbon just rubbed it in his face.
Wilbon is the man... he knows what he is talking about. That guy Max from "around the horn" is really high on Yao Ming. He said on today's show that Yao is more like Kareem rather than Rik Smits. I have to agree.
PTI by far is one of the best shows on ESPN today and watch Tony K eat crow today and Wilbon not holding back and totally rubbing it in was great. Its nice to see all the sports writers starting to eat their own words now. Cept that fool T.J. Simers of the LA Times I cant stand that jerk.
Dan Davis and Kornheiser were eating their words on the TK radio show this morning as well. Bob Ryan, probably the biggest Ming fan outside of Houston, is changing his national perception quickly. He is the one that turned Kellerman's views around.
jim rome who hasn't actually bashed ming but never was positive either, praised him ALOT today. it's nice to finally see some love for the rockets.
Am I alone or would "Around the Horn" be a better show if they DIDNT keep score? I also saw PTI today, Tony K was telling Wilbon how Wilbon said he was the Second Coming, Wilbon countered by saying he is looking a lot closer to the Second Coming then the stick you said he would be. Just something I had interest in, maybe you will too.
what did he say? I listened only the last part and the only thing I remember was he kissed shaqs a$$ again!
That is one of the worst shows on television. The tabs at the bottom are a complete rip-off of PTI. Having said that, I still watch the show b/c I'm THAT much of a sports junkie and a dope.
