Supposedly T-Mac was saying the Swift is the PF he wants and that he could bring so much athletisism to the team...blah blah blah. I personally didnt see the interview, but just saw this off the ESPN Rockets Message board. Anyone who could explain what was said would be awesome...
i saw the clip. it seems that mcgrady would like swift on the team. he said they met together about a week ago and gave his opinion on what swift would bring to the team. word for word im not sure as it caught me off gaurd....but the channel did say "more at 10" so check back on channel 2 then

Maybe TMac and convince Swift to play for a good team instead of taking more money to play in a worse situation.
Finally some good news. I'm sure T-Mac can be very persuasive telling Swift his game will be much easier playing next to yao.
I just heard it on 610. He basically said that if they add Swift's athleticism and Damon Stoudamire's outside shooting, they can get over the hump.
It's nice to see that McGrady, Jeff Van Gundy, CD, and almost all of the fans here at clutchfans want to see Swift as our powerforward of choice. It even seems that Swift wants to come to the Rockets too!!! Hopefully CD is working the phones to try to get Swift in a sign and trade. Obviously there has to be a couple of teams willing to do a sign and trade of Swift. Therefore CD has to try his hardest to try to get Swift here via a monetary sum that is close to fair market value. It seems Swift is willing to accomodate the Rockets. But Swift must let Memphis know that a sign and trade will only work with Houston; if not then he'll bolt to Houston for the MLE. I'd be willing to send Memphis a 1st round pick and a future 2nd round pick. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

He talked for a long time about how Swift's athleticism would help out Yao and the smaller guards. Then in passing he quickly said if they could add Damon Stoudamire for his outside shooting, those two peices would get them over the hump.
Would love to have both Swift and Stoudamire. Stoudamire would give this team the floor general that it lacks and Swift gives the team the athletic big man that it lacks.
