The Two Towers video game comes out in Australia next week, and I'm still deciding whether I should buy it or not. I heard it is quite short, but has a good replay value (because you can be 3 characters, plus the bonus one). And that the cut scenes are pretty cool, as is the fighting.

But is it more of a game you should buy or rent?

    Its actually not that great.

I played it and was quite glad I rented it first.

Its real repetitive, really short (I beat it on the rental), and is just overall boring.

Kingdom Hearts is a lot more fun if you can be man enough to play with Disney characters on your side. Its a lot longer, and is not that repetitive. The levels are long enough to be involving, but short enough to not get repetitive and sickeningly complex.

In the Lord of the Rings genre, I've heard better things about the Fellowship of the Ring game. I have not played it however. It differs from The Two Towers in that the Fellowship game has the Tolkein family permissions whereas the Two Towers has the movie license.

    Just food for thought.

Thanks! I heard the opposite: that TTT game was better than the FOTR one. Oh well, I'll rent it and see how I go. I'm a big LOTR fan, so I may end up buying it.
