Those guys are on an absolute tear right now. Not sure how long they can keep it going, but they've had some really nice wins of late (notably @MIA, @CLE, HOU, SA, PHX). I admit that I haven't really watched them at all, but I was just curious as to what everyone else thought about them. For your reading pleasure, Kevin Pelton of Basketball Prospectus had a pretty nice article on them a couple days ago. Link
They are very good at home. They will win a playoff series if they can get homecourt. They are also atrocious on the road. I expect that to come around though.
Captain Jack is so underrated. The dude has won almost everywhere he's gone. He's a little bit of nut case but he can definitely ball.
G. Wallace is a beast for them averaging 11 rpg Brown has done it again. Turning around a losing franchise.
Jack shooting is contagious and he is true definition of a "LEADER" or even "heart and hustle" and he even brought "intangibles to that team. He has become their "glue guy".
They seem to have a lot of talent but none of it is really young or great. Not sure what their plan is. I figured they would beat the Rockets though once I saw all the players they had.
I have been following them lately. And what can I say, they are amazing at home. Team with the best record in 2010. They are winning against any given team at home. They have great chamistry and they finally play DEFENSE, solid defense. Wallace is great, Diaw is playing well. But you have to love what Felton is doing in the 4th quaters. I saw game against Sacramento and he was amazing down the stretch.
It is a team going to nowhere.Larry brown has them playing well, but they don't have franchise player and they are capped out. Plus they won't get a lottery pick. I just hope the rockets don't end up in this situation.
Can't argue with going 9-1 in their last 10 games. The whippin' they put on the Heat after Beasley opened his big mouth was awesome. Their home vs. road is dichotomy extreme beyond anything I can remember after half a season. The Bobcats don't have much to look forward to. They will be first round roadkill and their team isn't exactly built for the long term.
They went from an young team to an old team real fast. Sure they'll make the playoffs in the weak eastern conference if they keep this up. But look at their roster. They have no one to build around for the future.
Man this team is loaded with great players, and they have a good coach, I mean why not, if they go to the playoffs I can see them winning a series...
