I was in the upper bowl yesterday and man, it was quiet. it seems that the lower bowl is much rowdier b/c they are close to the action and the cheerleaders/promos. Perhaps it was the particular section I was in but man, it was sad. It was me and one little 10 year old kid cheering for the rockets.

Ya, the upper bowl is kinda weak. It's the way they are building arenas now, they kinda black out the top part like the Staples Center.

But the Rox could do more to get the upper bowl more into games. The t-shirt toss never gets up there and they throw like 10 shirts from the very top.

    I noticed it too

    ...its the high, dome-like ceiling

the Summet/Compaq Center had a lower, flatter roof

well...the upper bowl is so far away. Everytime I have sat up there I felt so disconnected from the game.
