Anyone need a roommate in the greater Housotn area?

    I posted here about a month ago about moving to Houston in May. but I found out that I'll probably need to find someone I can roomie with the help pay the bills for a month or two until I can find me an apartment of my own (for me and my girlfriend) and a steady job. Does anyone need a roommate for around May/June of this year or know of anyone who might in the west side of Houston?     No offense, but if I was looking for a roomate, I wouldn't want one that was whipped......'cuz then I'd be ending up with two roomates--yet I'd still be stuck with half the bills.

    I'm not whipped or anything. (to be I posted THAT email addres.. lol) And you wouldnt have 2 other roommates. My girlfriend will stay with her parents until I find an apartment. She will move IN with me when I move OUT. :p

    What is worse though- your roommate's girlfriend or your eternal roommate's Mother?

    In many cases, the former is preferable.

    But on a sidenote, out of curiousity..

    You're moving from out of state for your girlfriend...

    How long have you guys been dating?
    Can you count how many days you have seen each other in person?

    If you feel I'm being invasive and offensive, I apologize in advance. I've been through something similar, and it was VERY messy.

    1)-We have been dating going on 3 years.

    2)-We visit each other off and on. I'll count up the number of days and trips for you. We first met on 2/15/01, she flew here and she stayed for 4 days. I went there in 4/01, stayed for 4 days. I went there in 6/01, stayed for 10 days. She came in 7/01, stayed for 8 days. I went there in 9/01, stayed for 4 days. I went there 12/01, stayed for 14 days. I went there again 3/02, stayed for 7 days. She flew here again 6/02, stayed for 12 days. I flew there 7/02, stayed for 14 days. I flew there at the end of 10/02, stayed for 5 days. I went there again last Christmas on 12/25/02 for 14 days. Next Wednesday (12th) I am flying there again and coming back on 3/24. So that is 12 days. So a total of 96 days so far. On 3/25, it'll be 108 days out of 3 years.

    Yeah, I live in the northwest part of houston, kinda sorta, near the beltway, kinda sorta near highway 290. kinda sorta near the Sam Houston Race Track.
