I just checked on tickets for away games and they are sold out!!!
Both games in Dallas have nothing but scattered singles left...

I wanted to enjoy the look of fear of the Dallas fans when we beat them twice at their home....:p

    Oh well....

We need at least two people for the kidnapping of Dirk, some duck tape, a water gun, and somebody who is willing to make the drive.

im going! i cant wait! cant remember what section im in, but its upper deck, behind the goal, at an angle from the court.

hey Houstonrocketss, i got those seats on ebay for about $25/ticket. so if thats in your price range, you can probably find some on there.

anyone have advice on where to park? i drove up for the dirk/tmac shootout earlier in the year. i parked what seemed like 1/2 a mile away for $12! my cousin took the DART into the stadium for only $2 i think, but that was near his home in plano. are there any other places to park near the stadium?

Bear in mind that assault and battery (ala Tonya Harding) carries a much lighter sentence than kidnapping.

    "Remember: Don't kidnap. Kneecap!"

As an out of towner, I'd really appreciate some info of the local traffic of Dallas on the weekends.

    Also,
    1) should I hail a cab or catch the bus ?
    2) Are Mavs' game that loudy & wild ?
    3) Do the security check bags at the door ? I have a Minolta 7 camera & 500mm lens, even though these were NOT pro gear, I had been stopped more than once attending games.

    Thanks in advance.

    :)

    1) I think bus will be fine.
    2) Yes, and there will be red necks who will get on your nerves if you are cheering for the other team.
    3) Last time I went to the game they did check bags, but it was near thanks giving, so I guess the security was tightened.

I'll be making the I-35 trip from Norman. I scored a pair of tickets on eBay for $51 shipped. They are midcourt upper level.

Take the dart into West End and then hop on the bus that drops you off right in front of the AAC.

Beware of the obnoxious (although the girlies are quite often good looking) Mavs fans. They have a lot of young fans, so show them how H-town does it and offer your seat(s) up to familes and/or women and children.

Oh yeah, when we win and you're riding back on the bus or train, don't brag, it hurts them more to know that we're not excited about whooping up on them :-D

I love it when they come to Houston and get chunked out on their butts for some rule they violated at the arena!...

Instant classic when you have a small group of Painted chest mav fans who whine and get all redneckfied on you when they get beat and wanna start a fight with Rockets fans and get thrown out!

I got some tickets on ebay too finally in the uppers BUT I will be wearing my Rockets red and will have a Astros baseball bat waiting for a Mavs fan who wants to get stupid.:D

I nominate these guys. They've already got their water guns and plastic swords ready to strike fear into the heart of Dirk.

Unfortunately, I have to live with the enemy. Luckily, only for another week and 1/2. I know someone who might be able to hook me up with tickets for game 2; I can only hope.

I am making the trip for a wedding....I got permission to go to the game and miss the ceremony as long as I make it to the reception. Looking to see if anyone has an extra ticket or I will simply sit by myself....anyone?

The ticket prices are ridiculous. These guys on EBay are making a killing by selling these $10-20-30 seats.
