I used Alamo when I went to South Padre with my roomies during Spring Break. It's the cheapest out of all the other competitors.

We went to the car rentals at Bush airport and it's the cheapest out of them all. You might wanna call them all before and find out which has the better deals.

Don't you have to have a different type of driver's license to drive a van of that size?

Chopped- My family just rented a van that size for a week or so for a family reuinion, not sure how much it ended up costing but my brother did a lot of research and PV Rental ended up being the cheapest deal. The van was very nice and didn't seem that used at all (PV usually deals with moving trucks).

But definitely give them a call and check their prices out.

PV Rental specializes in these types of trucks/vans. Good prices too.

You don't need a special license to drive a 12/15 passenger van.

Stay at a Disney resort, and you won't need a car. They pick you up at the airport and shuttle you around town.

Ofcourse we still got us a lexus....which had a broken sun roof! Damn you Hertz.

Do you need the van to drive to Orlando? Or just for in town? (probably a dumb question...12 people on a road trip in a van....yuck.)

How many are going? It sounds like a lot. For cheap but good lodging for a large crew, I'd check out ebay on a week rental. They have quite a few nice homes for rent by the week in that area.
