I heard Rice on the radio saying he "sees the light at the end of the tunnel" meaning he should be back soon.

Rudy also said he needs 4 full practices, per doctors orders, to totally evaluate the recovery. As of yesterday he's had 2 full practices with the team.

I hope he comes back soon, although GR is going to want his touches too..

I hope when he does come back, he shows that veteran leadership and keeps feeding Yao the ball...

to be honest, who cares? he doesnt make our team better...maybe even worse becuz he's over the hill and can't shoot nearly as good as he used to.....plus a liability on defense
i hope he never comes back

Do you not now anything about, well anything? Rice, is good for our team right now for the simple fact that we can rely on his outside shooting, he was putting up consistant numbers earlier this season when he was playing. He brought the rockets back into many game this season with his 3point ability, so all in all i think the rockets do need him back maybe we'll start winning a little more.

I totally agree. Rice is a veteran and we need those skills to make our young players better and have a better basketball mentality

To keep him from nullifying the Miami trade by having one of his typical freak walking accidents, we have him propped up in a horse-sling at a vet's office.

uh yes i do know something becuz i watch ever single damn game and have been a rox fan since 1984. If you think rice shooting 2-14 every game while giving the team veteran leadership then by all means lets have him out there....are u kidding me?? yeah, rice is definitely worth the 9 million or so we give him per year. thats about 300,000 per bucket..........and did i mention his defense sucks??? yeah, i rest my case........u people are incredible.......james posey does a decent job in rice's absence...
