Im a HUGE Astros fan and Ive been looking for a good message board simular to Clutch City to talk about the Stros . Ive been to the EZ Board and all they do there is talk smack to each other and they never post when they win it seems like the only time anything goes on there is when they lose . The Official site is'nt all that great either ...... This section of this board is a lot better than those two and its not strictly Stros . Just wondering if anyone knew of a place . Thanks .

Just different links, colors, and "logos." I honestly think it would eventually outrun the Astros Daily site, so it would be neater to combine them. Unless there's an admin riff between Clutch and whomever the guy over there is .
i can't say i am really impressed with any of the other ones. i think we should expand this one and get the traffic up.
I used to be a huge Astros fan but am now just lukewarm mostly due to Drayton McLane. I remember his first year when we brought in Swindell and Drabek. When that didnt work, he went to his cheapskate mode. It's all about the bottom line. Anyone remember when we drafted Tony McKnight in the 1st round when most teams had him pegged in the 2nd or 3rd? We did this just to save money. Im not saying McLane doesn;t have a right to run his club anyway he sees fit, just don't expect fans to go gaga over a club when the owner just cares about $$$. This team desperately needs a 3,4 and 5 starter but we wont get one.
Now that sounds like a good idea . As far as fandom goes I will always be a die hard Stros fan . When I was young I lived out in Crockett Tx and I had never even seen anything close to a city the size of Houston . My 1st time to get to see something as big as Houston was when my grandfather took me to the Stros game at the Dome when I was 5 . I was totally astounded by the presense of the game the Dome and the Astros . That was back in 84 and I have been a fan every since .
