I for one think Bonzi and Snyder have a lot overlap between them. JVG is gonna have another tough piece to juggle with. That's a problem when you have too many talents to work with.

Do we even need Bonzi in an injury free rotation?

He only plays like 60 games a season anyway. Don't use him until march so he can be fresh for the playoffs. ;)

He is hands down the third most talented player on the team. I like Kirk Snyder, but he's not as good as Bonzi

Can someone tell me how Bonzi plans to be a player in the FA market next season?!? At this rate, he's coming off the bench folks, at least til the all-star break. He's going to love that full MLE of ours next year! ;)

Not if he comes off the bench and scores 18 per night and wins 6th man of the year.

I disagree. Bonzi brings a devastating post-up game from the guard/forward position. Snyder brings athleticism and a decent outside shot. Bonzi doesn't shoot that well from the outside. I think Bonzi is an ideal 6th man to bring scoring/agressiveness off the bench.

my fondest memories of Bonzi are how he and Sheed almost pulled a Boston Red Sox on the Mavs back in 2003. i was rooting for them hard. i can't remember which game it was, but he was like unstoppable, and it seemed like the whole Dallas team was trying to stop him, but he was still scoring. it was McGrady-like.

610 Sports Radio (Mark V) just announced @ the 2:58 PM commercial break that Bonzi has left the team (they do not know how long) for some personal reasons.

well Kirk can play small foward with Bonzi at 2 , Vspan at 1, and Novak at 4. It's a decent lineup when we are going small. Bonzi has that post up game, while Kirk and Vspan can penetrate and dish.
