    Computer crashed and had to reload OS, had everything backed up expect my Itunes crap.

    Tried to load everything back on yesterday but only transferred purchased song, not anything I’d ripped.

    Found programs that transferred it over but wary of downloading programs, anyone know of an easy to get what on my Ipod to my new Itunes account?

    Running Windows 7 and newest version of Itunes.

    See if Tune Ranger will do what you want (I think it will). I have never used it but is apparently a 'respected' program.

    Go find a clean version of IDump.

    That will grab anything on your IPod, and let you put it on your PC.

    Then you can convert files or whatever you want to do, and go back to ITunes if you want, or just leave them where they are, whatever.

    IDump works though.

    This worked for me.

    Got a new computer at work and had to transfer everything from my iphone. The tricks that you'll find (copying the library persistent id key from one to the other) does not work any more. These programs are legit and pretty much the only way now.

    You dont need software;

    For Windows, you could just go to Start -> Control Panel -> Folder Options -> Show System and Hidden Files and Folders, and then open the iPod in My Computer, the name is whatever you named it in iTunes. Select the Folder "IPOD_CONTROL". I have only tested this on my iPod shuffle 2G, this might not work on other iPod models or iPhone.
