    To get name, address, etc.?

Monday evening someone hit my car on private property but they left their telephone number and name on my car. I spoke with this person on Tuesday letting him know I would have an estimate done and asked him to have his insurance call me. He seemed like a nice guy so I thought nothing of it.

Now I've left 4/5 more voice mails, nothing. No calls back at all. The last message I asked again politely and left my attorney's name and phone number letting him know he would getting a call from him if I do not receive a call soon.

I have the number but don't wanna put it on a public board. If anyone can help me find the information could you email me through the board?

 Type the number into Google search like so: (###) ###-#### . See what it gives back.

Well, you didn't say that, sir.

I am wondering what you said to this person exactly that they haven't called back.

Wait a few days. Hope this person, as nice as they sounded, will call you back. Next time, try to get more than just words on the phone... get REAL info.

Did the number start off with a 555?

I was very polite. Just happy that I did get a return phone call. He said he would call his insurance and apologized many times. I do have an estimate. It's not even that much, but I sure as hell don't want to pay for something I didn't cause.

I feel like he picked up the first time cause he didn't know it was the person that he hit.

You might try calling with a different number or something.

He's never picks up. I left a voice mail and he returned my call.

you can get a listing for $0.99 but you will then have to cancel service or they will charge you a monthly fee. no problems because you can cancel over web with a mouse click.

As a former private investigator, I recommend you hire one. They're professionals at this, you're not.

Well, the guy left the note on my car, which was actually written on the back of a receipt from a guitar purchase in a certain Texas border city. I called, told a fib about a purchase being made on my card, gave them the invoice number and date of purchase...AND, I not only got the name, the store owner actually gave me the credit card number. WTF? How is that not illegal??

Didn't matter though. My last call today at 3PM was just asking for his insurance information and I also left him my lawyers phone number and name. He finally called at 5:30 as I was pulling into my driveway and I "hopefully" received all of the info. that I need. Full name, insurance company, policy number, etc. I seriously thought I was getting jobbed, but we'll see when I call Farmers insurance tomorrow.

It's actually much easier to hack people than it is to hack computers.
