    Here is my idea. We can keep things like this going through the offseason for fun. Is anyone else interested in joining an NBA simulation league on NBA Live 2001 for those of us at CC.net? Here is how it would work...

    This would be like a league based on fantasy stats in that I wouldn't do something like put players ratings on the game the way they are and just leave them. That is no fun. Ratings would be equivalent to production as of now, and will fluctuate based on their game play. Here is my plan-- we have a league of up to 20 teams-- as many people that join up to 20. So say that 15 people take over and on a first come first serve basis take over as GM of some team in the NBA. Each team will be given 3 draft picks for a 3 round draft. What this draft will do is enable you to trade in ANY player on your team for the best player available at your pick from the 14 untaken NBA teams. We would simulate an 82 game season, do the playoffs, crown a champion, etc. I'd simulate about 4-5 games per night. Is anyone interested in joining a CC.net NBA Simulation league? If so, please reply saying you're interested.

    While it sounds fun I'm stretched a little too thin with work and my 6 fantasy teams but who knows I might join anyway, I'll keep you posted.

    I would be interested in something like that.

    I particiapted in something like that this summer and won the preseason, unfortunately it was shut down by the owner because of lack of time.

    I put together a team of:

    Mccoy
    Baker
    Antoine Walker
    Tracy Macgrady
    Gary Payton

    and Williams, Mason, Harvey, oyedeji, carr, and Barry off the bench.

    I had the sonics roster to work with.

    Watch out guys, we have a winner.

    Anyway, Cat, you can get more people if you post this in the hangout once.

    I myself check the fantasy section very rarely.

    How do you decide who gets what team?

    Love the idea, but i think we need some way of better picking the teams, even if you do by lottery or picking names out of a hat or some random way

    Please say something if you like Smeg's idea. It's not bad-- really it isn't-- I just know that a lot of people get into leagues dependent on them getting a team that they like. That could be better, but it also could run off a few people by them not being able to pick their team. Hope you see what I mean Smeg...

    Anyway, to all others in the league, give me some feedback on Smeg's idea.
