Im here at my office in SW Houston and someone apparently has dumped a kitten behind my building (this is the 2nd time someone has done this; my wife and I ended up taking the first one home). I called my contact with the SPCA and she said they won't come get it unless its injured, which its not. I already have 2 cats, a dog and a 16 month old at home and just cant take it in. If someone in SW Houston would be willing to take it in, id be greatful. I really don't want to have to leave this lil guy outside fending for himself when its going to be so cold tonight.
That's tough... if I didn't already have 2 young cats at home, I'd make the trip out there. If you don't have any luck, contact HOPE (Homeless Orphaned Pets Endeavor), HPPL or one of the other local shelters. The foster animals until they can find a permanent home for them.
