I been off since Dec 18th, I returned for work 2 days on the 28th, and 29th, then have been off for new years break. It's been a nice break but work starts again monday and no holidays anywhere for me until around May or so. I guess that's life, I wonder if I liked my job more if I would still have this awful depressed feeling about going back to work.

I was either unemployed or working a really crappy, low-paying job for most of this past year, but I got hired in my field of study last month and I'm really enjoying it so far.

So no, I'm not dreading the return. If you have a job in this economy, you shouldn't be either :)

Part of my job requires me to be professionally good looking and I've been hungover for the last 48 hours. I really don't know where I am or who you people are. And to make matters worse I have a flight in a lowly economy class seat coming up. So stop talking so loudly.

I have a 6AM audited inventory. Take a wild guess on how excited I am to return to work.

I'm sort of bummed out but with so many people wishing they had someplace to go Monday, I ain't complaining. 2009 was a great year for me and 2010 is looking very promising right now. I've worked hard for it but I feel very blessed and thankful to be in this position. Sometimes I feel a little guilty.

    Mall Santa?

Relax, you now have 11 months off of work. Go home and smoke a huge blunt till then.

Is it physical or more emotional because of the childhood memories?

I'm involved in freight. A lot of people in my industry got laid off last year and many companies are suffering big time right now. My former company crashed and I opened up a Houston station for my new employer mid-year. It's a pretty incredible (miraculous) story how it all came together. Since the job switch, things have taken off like a rocket, far better than anyone in their right mind could have ever dreamed of.

Would prefer not to say more. Our competitors (most of whom are struggling mightily) don't know how well we are doing and that is a very good thing.

I am not waiting on pins and needles waiting for the hours to pass to go back to work, but I am not dreading it either.

There are a lot of good things about where I work and feel very fortunate to have the job.

I typically do over 2 million in freight a year out of my company and one of my many job titles is logistics manager. Email me through the board.
