I currently have Netflix & Gamefly and I was wondering if anyone on here have blockbuster by mail since it looks like a better plan.
I've worked at blockbuster and have used their by mail service as well as netflix. Some key points when comparing them to netflix is that they have no streaming. With movies just coming out, you have to make it a point to put the movie in your queue early if you want it close to release date. Their game selection isn't that great, and they have a 3 month delay after their release to be able to get them through mail. On their side is the point that their usually pretty quick in delivering movies, and that their blueray's and games (though kinda crappy) are available at no additional cost. You also get the 5 movies to exchange in store which comes in handy a lot if there's a movie coming out that you definitely want to see or have company coming and need something quick.
After the customer service nightmares I had with Blockbuster Video, I vowed I will NEVER rent from them again...in store, kiosk or online. They have a horrible track record. Buyer beware.
