damn I wish I was in Houston so i could do this. I've just been getting into running lately, I ran a 5k in November around Austin for the Susan Koemin breast cancer foundation and really enjoyed it
Me and a couple of my friends are doing the run. Cris is now super busy (and his voice mail reflects it), you most likely won't catch him on the phone as the event is only two days away. Praises to him for being the only guy listed to as contact for an event as big as this. You can now just call the box office number (713-627-DUNK) to register. In addition to the run/walk, the t-shirt, your official time kept (if you are doing the run), the post-race party has some snacks and I thought I heard from somewhere that some of the players may be there (don't know who though), the ticket to the night's game against the Hornets, AND the Shane Battier Bubble Head as door prize. A great deal for the price.
i really wanted to do this. i live in the austin area and can't make it. have fun to everybody who plans to attend.
