I am just wondering with all the Mavs hate, Heat and Detroit love... who here is actually a fan of any of the remaining teams first, or before the Rockets?

I am a die-hard Rockets fan... that would like to see Shaq win it all again before retiring... since my Rockets are out, I'd like it to happen this year.

Anyone here really a Mavs, Suns, Heat or Pistons fan (first)?

I hate every team remaining in the West and am pretty indifferent to both of the Eastern Conference teams.

I dont mind Pistons or Suns winning it all this year just as long as the Mavs dont win...I have mixed feelings about the Suns tho...last year when Amare was playing i was rooting for them all the way but this year I went for the Lakers then the Clips. BTW every team I have wanted to win in a series has freakin lost...wats up w/ that???

If it looks like the Mavs are going to go all the way, I will be forced to take drastic measures.

The team I hate the least is Shaq and the Heat. There is Riley to deal with...

I love basketball but unless the Uni says Rockets on it, then I really don't care. All I care about is the Mavs getting bounced.

I was a mavs fan for the past seven games. Life would have been hell for me here if the sperms would have won.

You kiddin me? No Rockets, no Pacers, no Spurs (and now no Cavs) means no team left. Right now I'm left with trying to summon all the positive feelings I can for the remaining teams just in case they win it all.

Mavs: I'm very happy for Avery Johnson. He dialed down the screaming and theatrics towards his players has become a solid coach. He learned from one of the best (Pop) and beat him.

Suns: I love the way Steve Nash plays ball. He shouldn't have been MVP this year, but his floor vision, passing, handles, and shooting are unsurpassed.

Pistons: UGH! Joe Dumars. Not a publicity hound like so many in the NBA. He just does a great job for a team I detest. I also kinda of like Rip, Chauncey and Tayshaun but Rasheed, Big Ben and the city of Detroit more than make up for that.

Heat: Wade Wade Wade. He's gotten a lot of "heat" in this forum recently but the guy is a special player and will demonstrate that in the ECFs. If he doesn't get hurt, the Heat have a good chance to make the Finals. The last thing I want is for Riley and Shaq to succeed. Riley is in my top 2-3 disliked NBA coaches but I give him credit. Supposedly he threatened to bench Shaq during the season if he didn't get in better shape. The team was in disarray late in the season (mainly because Wade didn't play well) but they have found their stride just in time.

I'm a big Rasheed Wallace fan, so I like to see him win, and he's on the Pistons, but that doesn't make me a life long Pistons' fan.

i said suns...although in all honesty i'm both a rockets and a nash fan. i really don't know who i'd cheer for if they met in the western finals.

so yeh...ever since the grizzlies moved from vancouver - i've been a lost soul looking for somebody to cheer for. i've found the rockets and the guy from victoria is doing alright as well.

I just want the Pistons to sweep the Mavs in the Finals. That's all.

I can't say I'm a fan of any of the remaining teams. I do really dislike Detroit, for some reason. I want Miami to embarass them in the ECF. I'm also a big Dwyane Wade fan, and I generally root for him in any game.

As for PHO-DAL, I'm leaning towards supporting the Suns (it would be a great story to see that team get to the Finals). If the Suns won it all, it would finally lay to rest the annoying cliche that only defense wins championships.

In order, my preference for who wins it all is:

    Suns, Heat (tie)
    Mavs
    Pistons

From the remaining teams, I am rooting for the Heat, they're the one team I dislike the least, and I am a Dwayne Wade and Shaq fan (two nice guys that make it easy to root for them).

So I am rooting for the Heat and the Suns, since I don't want Dallas to sniff a championship.
