He was as animated as I've ever seen him. Screaming at the refs, especially towards the end, I wonder if anyone caught his postgame?
Don't they usually post them at Rockets.com or check for Hilltoppers vids... I would like to hear from him...and Morey. DD
Yea, I second that. I really want to hear what he said. I DVRed the game and fortunately added 30 minutes which got me almost exactly to the end of the game. I didn't get any of the postgame coverage. I feel pretty weird right now. I'm incredibly disappointed on one hand but equally amazed on the other. Chuck Hayes is phenomenal.
nothing there, but i got ron's comment: “I was only here one year and really didn’t do nothing,” Artest said. “I didn’t expect anything but to come out here and see Kobe get his 50.” At least he knows he did nothing
more: Artest said he thought about giving Ariza a hard shot, but backed down for fear of a fine or a suspension. “You know if somebody hits me, I’m going to react,” the famously temperamental Artest said. “I got hit with about three elbows. It’s just not fair. I don’t want to fight, I don’t feel like doing it. If you throw an elbow into Ron Artest’s chest, do you know who you’re hitting? “But I give up, I just give up,” he said. “I’m not fighting anymore. You could elbow me, smack me, use me as a punching bag. I’m not reacting anymore, I’m tired.”
Rockets Live had him on there for about 2 minutes, but I didn't keep it on my DVR. I remember he said something along the lines of it being a good team effort, and then he started a comment about how he thought everyone gave their best effort, but then switched it to "everyone tried to give their best effort". After that he kind of snapped on some reporter who asked if turnovers were the reason we lost, and went on to explain that he was "really frustrated right now" and I think it cut off at that point. Oh, he also mentioned that every team and every game is different and that they just need to be ready for OKC. He's going to be riding them them pretty hard till Friday I guess.
actually this guy is damn funny, his hairdo cracked up me badly as I saw those three chinese characters 湖人队, namely lakers in english, lay on his head
The first half of that 4th quarter, the Rockets were executing the offense about as well as you could possibly execute it, and the Lakers were playing pathetic on their offensive possessions. I remember thinking it was time to finally blow open the lead... but then Jackson called a timeout and it was like the script completely flipped. I don't blame Adelman for being frustrated at all. But honestly, I'm just really glad Ariza knocked down that open three at the end of the 4th. I mean, I never like it when the Rockets lose, but I would have hated it much more if Artest's three would have been the difference.
