It was crazy that even the Rockets broadcast team "didnt have" that replay to show when the guys clearly pointed out it was some sort of kick.

I mean i doubt Nahs was thinking "i want to hurt this guy" but sometimes in the heat of the moment he does dumb sh*t like this and gets people hurt (see Felton, Raymond). Not that its right when he does it to felton, but when youre dealing wiuth 7'6 guys things are a lot more delicate if they fall.

They really need to take a look at it, and even if tehy dont suspend him, give him a stern warning--just so he thinks about it before he does it next time (to whoever it may be).

i honestly think he was just trying to get up as soon as possible, the guy is a competitor.

    After the replay, I agree.

But last night I was like, what is up with that? Only not quite like that.

I don't think it was intentionally done; but more of Nash just trying to get up quickly to get back into the play.

I don't think so. You can see him kick Yao as hes getting up. I guess you could say he used Yao to get up faster , i doubt it though. . But he flopped like that last time they played and he got the offensive foul on Yao. I'm glad the refs picked up on it this time and called nothing. I hate floppers! You can really injure people fake falling to the floor like that.

The kicking was an reaction to get himself up quick but the pulling down of Yao
is dangerous (for a big man) and it's flagrant foul.

Because it's easier to kick your legs out and then push yourself up than it is to just push yourself up?

Nash was frustrated. He let a little of that frustration out--luckily he didn't hurt anybody. If Yao was hurt, I think there are very few people here that would see that as an accident by a "competitor."

That being said, holy ****, that guy is good. Sometimes I forget what an incredible player he is because I don't watch Phoenix too often.

in real time it doesn't seem like a dirty play but you never know.. i think he was trying to draw a foul on Yao by flopping..

I dont think it's a big deal. Just looked like Yao was on his leg and Nash was trying to get up, so he shoved Yao with his foot to get him off of him.

Aren't Nash and Yao friends, playing together in China over the summer etc?

The more I watch that video the more it looked like a foul on Nash. He just ran toward Yao who was coming over and collided with him. Nash, being the midget that he is, got the worst of it, but he got there at the same time as Yao which is clearly a foul on him.

Funny thing is, nash keeps doing this to guys that have helped him out with his charity events. I'm surprised he didn't go after baron davis in their last game.

nash got pummeled by yao with a no call. I'd be frustrated too if I tried to take a charge on a 7'6 guy, have him practically fall on me, and then not get the call. the refs were a little off last night for both sides.

From what I can see, yao had fallen on Nash's left leg, it wasn't a kick so much as Nash used Yao's body as a brace to push himself backwards and get his left leg out from under him.

Oh please, that was a clear flop. He did the same thing last time we played and got the call offensive foul called on Yao. This game, the refs seemed to smarten up. Nash was pissed because he didn't get a call from his flop. Nash is a dirty player. Did you not see the intentional trip he did on Felton that caused an injury?

Back to the refs, I thought they did a decent job last night. Better than usual. They let a lot of things go and thats how you want it. Let the guys pllay and not have the refs determine the outcome of the game. If the refs were whistle-happy this game, there'd be a foul called on every possession. Very physical game last night and refs did a good job of swallowing their whistles.
