Anyone have a streamtvnow account not being used??

    I know this may be in the wrong forum, but I'm not sure that it really "belonged" in any of them. :confused: So if need be, mods, please lock!

    Anyway, I'm going to be travelling a LOT this winter/next spring, and I really want to watch the Rockets. I know CCTV-5 is an option, but I'm wondering if all the games will be broadcast live, or if they will be broadcast in the evening in China (wee hours of the morning here in the states).

    So...

    Does anyone have a streamtvnow account that they are not using and don't plan to use? If so, would you be willing to give it up to me, if all the CC info and password and e-mail and such were changed? They aren't allowing anyone else to register, and I can't figure out how to get an account, other than "transferring" one.

    I know this is a long shot, but it's worth a try!

    holy crap, you just reminded me I actually have a stremtvnow account I totally forgot about! I'm gonna use it to watch some of these Rockets games since they aint showing them on NBA TV yet :D

    Every couple of days they open up registration. Just keep checking back and you'll get in eventually. My only concern is that the quality has been poor the past three games. This is probably due to all the new subscribing rocket fans. If they don't work that out, then it might not even be worth watching.

    The Quality of the stream was beyond perfect yesterday ! but the quality of the first two games they did brodcast was exteremly poor .

    The quality last night was good, but I kept getting kicked off. And it took a lot of tries to get back on as well. Did this happen to anyone else.

    It happened to a buddy of mine, he thought it was his internet connection. It worked fine with me lastnight, the quality was excellent.

    The couple games before were pretty bad though, probably because of the advertising their getting for Rockets games on this board.

    Thephatp- like mcable said, they open up registration every once in a while, you're best bet is just to keep on checking.

    I suspect the high quality last night might have had a lot to do with a little something called the "World Series".

    I'm beginning to become more dubious about the StreamTVNow thing, now.

    The quality has been somewhat lacking whenever I've tried it.

    Thanks, m_cable...I just registered. Now I have to figure out my paypal login and password again (it's be a LONG while), and then set up current credit card info, and then subscribe! ;) But I'll get there now!

    Is the quality better at CCTV-5 and is it in chinese?

    Sometimes it happens not just when you see Rockets games but it could occur with any other channel , generally i'm very happy with the service they provide i've seen almost all games from Suns-spurs series and many others and the Quality was just great the thing i excpectt during the playoffs ! that doesn't mean that it won't be that good during the regular season .
