Anyone has the same feeling as mine?

Every time when we play Dallas and Suns, I have a really strong feeling that we will lose.( Though I hope we will beat them.)
But every time when we play the other 27 teams, I really have confidence that we can beat them every night.

If we divide the teams in the league into three grades.
surely Dallas and Suns belong to the first grade. And maybe Spurs also.
But I really think Rockets cannot be put in the first grade. But absolutely the second up grade.

Maybe it is because we always have trouble when we are against Dallas and Suns that gives me the feeling we are still not the toppest team compared to Dallas and Suns.

What about u guys? the same feeling or totally disagree?
let's talk about it as Rockets really does a good job this year.
    ;)

    you just lack confidence

next time a girl rejects you, you have to go back up there with the mentality that she like syou or she will see the fear in your eyes and turn you away.

Nope. I feel like we're gonna win every game, though I can accept some losses more than others.

Well, we've just lost three straight times to the Mavs, and I think 6 straight times to the Suns. That's probably why.

If Yao and TMac play at the top of their game at the same time (which hasn't consistently happened yet), then I feel we can beat ANYBODY. We smoked the Spurs and the Mavs early this season by 30 points each.

If Yao and TMac don't play that well, then:

    1. all the Rafer/JVG/Juwan hating is irrelevant
    2. all the, we need to give Bonzi, VSpan and Novak more PT is also irrelevant.

Yao and TMac are our meal ticket. No championship is ever won if the star players play sub-par.

are you serious? haha, i would never do that. she rejected you the first time for a reason. the reason doesn't change b/c you were persistent.

In a seven game series, i am not confident we can beat out the dallases. In just a season game, we surely can beat any team out there. but at the end of the day it depends on the style the game is played, we can surely beat the sanantonio's and the utah's because of their slow-paced style. we can beat dallas if we can control the pace of the game.

yeah well thats because we didnt have yao... i strongly feel that we could of beat the mavs everytime... think about it, we were up by a large margin everytime we played the mavs this year.. its just that the three times that they came back and beat us it was because we didnt have yao.... im tellin you, I CANT WAIT TO PLAY THEM IN THE SECOND ROUND...

and yes i am that confident that we can beat UTAH in the first time and prove CHARLES(THE GAMBLER) BARLEY wrong... although its not gonna be a walk in the park...

and to answer ur questions about the suns, there the only team im scared for the ROCKETS TO PLAY

by next year we will be up there with dallas and phoenix.

the only difference between them and us (besides having healthy superstars) is scoring options.

we have 2 guys who can score 25+ points on any given night. dallas has, dirk, howard, terry, and stackhouse. phoenix has amare, marion, nash, barbosa, and sometimes even bell.

Wouldn't it be nice if our playoff lives didn't depend on Yao and Tmac playing out of their mind each and every game. What separates us from the elite teams are players outside of our "stars" that can step up when one of them is struggling.

he is the type of guys who girls want to kill..NO MEANS NO U LIL b*stard.

"but if i have game..i will ask 300 times" :D

    ya exactly.

battier has his good days but most days he takes very few shots..plus i think he is out defensive guy..

jho is not bad..but he is very 1 dimensional to me..if his 15fter is not falling..we are screwed.

same with alston and head. if we had that guy who would take it to the basket every night, we would be ok.

Mavs and Suns are better. Their benches could start for most teams, their benches could beat most teams. TMac and Yao, WILL have to play out of their minds to compensate for Rafer lauching "floaters" over the backboard, and Hayes being a midget (I really like him though). Shane has a history of disappearing offensively in the playoffs and Howard & Mutombo get senior discounts. Head is erratic and may throw the ball in the stands at any time. The Stars have to shine and Luck flow like a river. I am cheering for a first round exit for the Mavs. Wouldn't that be funny!

Us beating the Mavs or Suns is out of the question. We would need both T-Mac and Yao to combine for 80 points because our role players disappear whenever we play them. It's true.
