I thought only dudes like Glen Rice got stuff like this. I've had a pain in my heel for 2 months...I finally did a search on the net and I have all the classic symptoms of Plantar Fasciitis. The fact that I've waited at least 2 months to finally do something about it sucks in that it will take a lot longer to heal once I actually start treatment. Anyone else out there had or got it now?
I had it several years ago. It can get extremely painful at times. The doctors gave me arches to wear in my shoes, which seemed to help.
Ahh the classic "diagnose-yourself-over-the-internet." Well thought out, I might add. I mean no middle man AND no bills. Wow.
Yes they helped. I have minor reoccurences now and than, and I really have no idea what triggers them, but it only lasts a day or 2,than it's gone.
Maybe I have something like this. I've had a dull pain in my heel off and on for the last 8 months, usually noticeable the day after I do step aerobics or walk a long way. It's not enough to seriously bother me or stop me from doing anything, but I do notice it. Probably from trying to save money by doing step and boxing aerobics in $30 shoes.
I have had it, taped my foot up, got orthotics and is generally better, to really get over it you have to stop running for a while.
Ouch. Yes. Had it in track in high school. And the thing is...it lasted for about a week, but I limped everywhere. I had no idea what I had until I learned about it recently. I remember it hurted so bad, I can still feel it.
