My kid's softball team wants to buy trophies for the girls since they don't get any for the fall, so has anyone ever had some made? Is it better to find a local place or just get them on-line?

    YOUR MOM.

    Ahhhh, that feels better *twss.

Where have you tried? Call the league... they may have a deal with an "awards store" already... or maybe call the high school you attended to see if they know of any one company that does them cheap. What do you need, plaques and trophies, or just trophies?

Definitely get them locally if they carry stock. The shipping costs for trophies are big if you order online.

Where is local to you? I am sure there is a local trophy place near by. Use local, they're pretty cheap, no shipping, should not take but a week +-, and they can make anything you want. 10" tall or 5ft tall. You can engrave, "World best softball team ever" if you want. :)

Sure, why not? These are kids, some like them, some may or may not be any better or play the game later (some don't care a whole lot).

What do NBA champs need their trophies for?
    Politically incorrect.

I made myself a trophy for my ongoing domination of D&D. That trophy has a man, shirt unbuttoned, standing on a pile of keyboards. It is very sexy. And if you look closely, Trader_Jorge's arm is sticking out near the bottom of the keyboard pile.
