They had "rivalries" with Fallout Boy and The Bravery.. so I am going to go ahead and assume they suck lol. Have fun though.
The killers are awesome they are kinda pop-ish rockish I dunno how to describe it...but to reiterate myself they are awsome
Favorite song is "Human." <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/DdRGDGl0yfM&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/DdRGDGl0yfM&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Official Video
I saw them in Denver a few weeks ago and they exceeded ALL expectations. The new album plays much better live, and Flowers is a hell of a frontman (even if he has to stand up on the speakers to be seen). I was down in the crowd when they closed with "All These Things I've Done." The Sam's Town tour was a little better because the album had a unifying concept that led to a more unified show, but I'm sure you'll have a blast. Here's an amazingly high quality video of their closing number, Flowers really whips the crowd up here: <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/4SClSveWdoE&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/4SClSveWdoE&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Oh, and they open the show with a blast as well: <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Ix3NSLN8tlc&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Ix3NSLN8tlc&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
The Killers are a fine band, but it's almost not fair to compare them. Death Cab is awesome. They're so witty and funny with much catchier songs.
Seriously, thats the worst song ever....I think Bill Simmons put it best when he said: "I don't want to say The Killers are going in the wrong direction, but their third album made their second album sound like a cross between "Born in the USA" and "Nevermind" ... and I'm currently using the second album's CD as a coaster for ginger ale. "
hey dude what ohter songs did they play? is there anywhere online a setlist of the songs they played? do they still play brightside at all lol
Yeah, I LOVED their first album, but when I hear "Human" all I can think is, "When did the Killers become Erasure?"
