I am planning to go but was wondering if any of you have been to the SBC center yet? Are the balcony seats any good? I was planning on getting the 50 dollar balcony seats and need some opinions.
According to rockets.com, there is a good chance he will suit up. I bet he will be in for less than 10 minutes though.

No. I'm a native Houstonian who saw Hayes play in '68 @ U of H and I have a deep attachment to centers who play in Houston.
I'm Asian but thats not why I like Ming. I like him because he got skills and the longest the rockets have ever been without a franchise center since I've been a fan is one. Last year and the year before we got Sampson which was 81-82 I believe.
Austin readers: Lets all go and start a riot in the SBC center. Go decked out in any Rockets gear you can find and make signs and scream obscenities galore. It'll be fun...and besides, the SBC center is only an hour and a half away from home for us; which is not unlike the compaq center for some suburbian Houston fans of the Rockets.

I live in New Braunfels, and have seen many Spurs- Rockets games in the AlamoDome, unfortunetly we lost most of them the last 2 years (here), and the Spurs Fans on a whole are Mean and Arrogant.

Haven't been there yet because tonight is the first ever game there so wouldn't be able to comment on sightlines,atmosphere,etc.
