Would he be a nice pick up if Morey drafted him at 14th or 16th?

Potential to be the best SG in this draft with his athleticsm, skillset and handles. Doubts only exist because of head issues and ankle/shoulder injuries that could spread throughout his whole career. Would defninitely be a steal if he turns out good.

Then again, virtually any player is a steal if he turns out good.

Yea, but some have more potential than others. He could be an all-star with his skillset.

Hated the couple interviews I saw of him. But I don't care if he is a gibbering idiot or rhodes scholar if he can knock down the corner 3 and pull up jumpers.

Reminds me of Rip Hamilton, but he can create his own shot.

What's the negative on this guy? To me hes kind of ranked a little low. He seems to have all the tools to be a really good offensive player; great shot, moves well off ball, athletic/long, handles. Whoever is running a triangle offense should try to get this guy.

Show no emotion so people think he doesn't really care for the game. Apparently he's been the same way in his interviews.

Apparently he's laid back. Kinda skinny. Shooting percentages dropped. Questionable shot selection.

I like him though. I think all those negatives can be fixed.

I don't know about his injury history, but he looks like a top 8 prospect to me.
He has a very complete game offensively, and his defensive awareness is underrated. I love how he was able to play at a high level with the ball in his hands or off the ball (playing along side Kemba Walker).

How does he compare to Terrence Ross?

That's what was said about Batum pre-draft.

Lamb won't fall that far most likely.

The interviews I've seen make me want to pull out my teeth rather than listen to him. I think it's mainly the tone in his voice and his facial expressions that make it so bad. Comes across like he doesn't care and a little defensive too when prompted different questions. He's talented for sure but seems like he's running on a 10Watt.

Physically and athletically he is at the top of the SG class. Has got great skills and plays defense well. Creepy 7' wingspan. Quick quick first step. Great, mechanically pure shooter. Should have stepped up and taken control of the U-Conn team, but at 19 was unable to do so.

Needs to gain muscle he's 179 lbs I think, his laid back carefree demeanour can is taken like he doesn't care about the game. Has a god jumper moves well without the ball. Also not mentioned much but he had a very good floater he made them at a high percentage last year.

Both are lean, very athletic with nice range and defensive tools.

Lamb is the more explosive scorer. He's a better ball-handler and shot creator. He has longer arms. He's also more lackadaisical, and as U-Conn slipped, he kind of stopped playing team ball. In his Fr year, he played great as a complementary player, hitting shots, playing D and smart ball, but in his Soph year, he developed more of an offensive arsenal and became "the man" and ended up playing erratically and not being much of a leader.

Ross puts more effort in on defense and is about 20 lbs heavier. He's a slightly more consistent catch-and-shoot guy than Lamb. He's not a good ball-handler and rarely creates shots off more than 1/2 dribbles. He has a surprisingly short wingspan.

My SG rankings would be Beal - Waiters - J.Lamb - Ross - Rivers
    - Lamb probably has the most go-to potential of the bunch, and some would argue the entire draft. He just seems to have that "idgaf" attitude that may make him closer to Nick Young than an elite offensive player.
    - Beal is the safest pick, and thus first. He doesn't wow me though, and looks to be a great 3rd option type who can play off a good PG. Lucky for him, he's likely to end up beside Kyrie or Wall.
    - Waiters may be the most complete. He plays hungry, but doesn't hurt the team, like say Rivers does with his iso-tendencies. He's a natural playmaker on both ends, and just makes things happen. I'd be ecstatic if he landed on HOU.

I personally think he will be just as good if not better than Beal. Anyone who watched him his freshman year during March Madness saw the potential. Worst case scenario is Trevor Ariza with superior handles. Best case is TMac. The guy who he most resembles to me right now is Eddie Jones.

Super smooth, great jump shooter, solid defender, solid handles, plays the passing lanes like a thief.

Outside of the top guys Jeremy Lamb, Royce White, and John Henson would make me really happy.
