Is anyone excited about seeing what this movie will be like? I personally cant wait for it to come out. The previews are tight and critics have actually praised Eminem for his acting in this role. And we just know that the soundtrack will be first class....
doubt i'll see the movie ( i just don't go to that many) but i love the song "lose yourself". probably my favorite eminem song so far and i've liked his other songs a lot.
as much as I hate to say it...it will probably end up being a good movie. Curtis Hanson is an incredible director, and I'm sure he'll make Eminem look like a better actor than he really is. And I can't get enough Brittney Murphy. She may be a little psycho, but she's one of the best young actresses out today.
Yea, I am really HYPED up to see it. Casual Eminem fan and I hear critics say "Don't be surprise if Eminem is nominated for an Academy Award".
how hard can it be to play yourself? the Eminem academy nomination could be just hype from Brian Grazer, but yeah Curtis Hanson rocks. I liked LA Confidential, hopefully thisll be good as well.
It's going to be interesting to see Eminem in an actor's role... I'm seeing it now....Eminem getting the award, and flicking off the birds
Eminem gets even an Award nomination . . . . I will know those show are completely bogus NO WAIT I already know they completely bogus Rocket River
I think you just hate him because he's a white guy obviously dominating blacks in an almost 100% black industry. And don't even pretend that you aren't racist, because you've made racist comments in the past.
I remember the first time 8 Mile came out, when it was called Flashdance. I forgot where I saw that joke, but it makes sense. Both of them star as a young person from a humble backround who work in the main industry of their city. Beals was a steel worker in Pitsburgh, Eminem is an auto worker in Detroit. They both have big dreams and aspire to be famous, Beals as a dancer and Mathers as a rapper. Yeah, I'm not going to watch that movie.
LMAO . . . . . Dominating. . . . . . DOMINATING!!!!????? BLACK INDUSTRY???!?!!?!?!?!? Goodness.. . . . he got jokes!!! poor nomar's favorite person is not on my happy happy joy joy list. . . . . . wah wah wah . . .. . Rocket River or is it RACIST RIVER . . . . eh, NO-MAAAHHHHHHH
Or maybe you like him because he's a white guy. Nah... that couldn't happen. Regarding the movie, I'm probably going to see it just cause I'm a junky like that but I do agree he's basically playing himself. Whether or not he can act will be determined by any second film he makes or of course if he fails miserably in playing himself in this movie if that's possible.
God that was awful...Had to watch it cause my little sister rented it on a visit...Lotsa nice eye candy, but just a pathetic storyline... P.S....And I'm not kidding here...Eminem's in a movie? Why?
I just remember Vanilla Ice's Movie and Brian Bosworth .. . . . he cannot be worse than that. . .. but then again . . .maybe Whitney Houston in the body Guard was good. . but she basically Played herself to an extent. . . in her other movies she was subpar IMO Rocket Racist River AKA TRIPLE R - courtesy of NO-MAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Hmmm...yes, Eminem is DOMINATING in what is an overall black industry. You can probably count the number of white rappers on your hand- and there are even FEWER successful white rappers. Eminem is arguably at the top of the rap game right now. Oh, and selling 8.5 million copies in just nine weeks is dominating.
