had their bike stolen? Well, while I was out of town recently my 10th bike was stolen. Yeah my 10th. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem. I know it seems almost impossible, but it is very true. However, this is the first time I have ever had my bike returned in one piece and it not be spray painted or have different wheels. It's just crazy.

Well, if you have had your bike stolen 10 times, either you're leaving it in a place where it can easily be taken, or you just live in a bad part of town. That's crazy!

And to answer the question - nope, never have.

I don't know, maybe the problem is with you regarding 10 bikes being stolen. How does one get double digit numbered bikes stolen?

I had two, and they were never stolen.

My good eyes saw them riding them down our street this afternoon. What idiots.

This was the 10th bike in 20 years and two cities. And if someone wants to steal something they are going to do it whether there is a chain or not. The bad neighborhood thing is also false. I would call it bad luck.

I had mine stolen from a second floor balcony in Pasadena. That was about 12 years ago though.

Pee Wee had a REALLY bad experience with this. Some would call it a Big Adventure, even.

I had one stolen this past year at college. My fault though not bad luck, dont let "drunk" friends borrow your bike the chances of it coming back are very slim. Just stupidity on my part..10 bikes is crazy. Maybe your scooter person

A few years ago I had been camping & had left my pack & tent on my front porch balcony (2nd floor apartment) overnight to air out. Naturally it was gone the next morning. A few weeks later I was driving by Bell Park on Montrose & Banks & looked over & thought "D@mn, that's my tent!". Some homeless dude had my stuff. At least he needed it & was making good use of it, as opposed to some crackhead trading it off for a fix.

Beat the crap out of them. Just kidding. Well after a little detective work of my own. I called my connection with the JPD and I followed them until JPD got there. I will have to tell you the story later. Quite funny if you ask me.

    Oh yeah:
I had a bad-ass Mongoose BMX. I got jumped by two black guys the day before I started 6th grade.

I was pissed. Never saw it again.

Couldn't you have mixed in ONE win for the Astros? Never go to the same town the Stros are playing again. ;)

I had my Mongoose BMX with mag wheels stolen from a 7-11 right under my nose when I was a kid. I guess I was too involved with my Defender game to notice them taking it.
