I dont know...I know we need to concentrate on what's ahead of us rather than what's behind us...but the sonics and their little win streak is starting to get on my nerves..and even so, I will be going for them against Phoenix...still, they are giving me the creeps the way they are starting to tailgate...

I have been concerned for a while now. They are only 2.5 games behind the Rockets. This game on Saturday is going to be much more important that anyone originally thought.

Damn Seattle is only 3.5 behind Timberpuppies. That means only 2.5 behind us! I had not realized that. And according to Nba.com Tv they play 15 of 18 games at home! Damn we have to beat them this week or we really are in trouble!

    Im not concerned.
The way I see it the Rockets have to play really well either way.
Why worry about the Sonics catching up. Will only happen if we screw up, in which case we wont make the playoffs anyways.

    R0ckets03,

I thought that it was 16 out of 18.

They sure were talking up the Sonics, weren't they? Oh, and with some limited mention of the Rocks. And how impressive that 'mention' was too! Bickerstaff (Spurs color now...I didn't know that) was on the line and I could swear he said that 'phoenix and minnesota can hear the footsteps of Coberly...and...and...and...Francis'.

D@mn, he was only the player of the week.

JayZ is right. We have to lose more consistently for the Sonics to catch us which means that we can't catch Minnesota or Phoenix anyway. The simple fact is that we have to keep on our hot streak to make it to the playoffs. One win against the best team in the west doesn't make it a given that we are going to keep winning at the same hot pace that we have been. We have been winning consistently for the past 20 or so games and I hope that we can keep it up. I actually feel spoiled that we have been so hot. If we lose a game, it really hurts alot more than it did earlier in the season, even if it is to a superior team (like the spurs). Intead of worrying about the Sonics, lets control our own destiny and keep winning. If we do that, everything will take care of itself.

We are up 4 games in the loss column. Thats what matters. We should only lose 5-7 more games so I really don't expect the sonics to make up that many losses.

This really leaves the future of Patrick Ewing, albeit a short one, in limbo. He was supposed to come in and help bolster the front line..make them better on the boards, etc.

The funny thing is, Sonics fans are probably thinking the same thing about us! The Rockets are on fire, and they just blew through San Antonio. The Spurs have won 10 of 11 games, guess what their only loss is? Houston will deal with the Supersonics.
