Hey comp experts and sports junkies out there, has anyone had trouble getting onto ESPN.com lately. For the past few days, I just time out after hitting enter. I am on Netscape but also have IE and have found that neither are working? Any tips or thoughts.........

Just checked it out on Firefox and IE and both are working fine. Do you have any other computers on the network that you can check and see if you can get to ESPN. Maybe there is something just on your computer.

Working fine here.... your ISP may have been disconnected from the ESPN DNS server, should be fine in a few minutes.

Check to see in your settings to see if you accidently didn't like block the site under the privacy stuff.

Go to Start the Run and type command go to a DOS prompt and type in

    ping espn.com

see if it hits the site or it times out.

Well, they charge for everything else on that site, so maybe they're charging to access the main page...

seems like its an ongoing issue, r u on EV1.net by any chance?

I couldnt get on here from work and had a customer had the same issue. You may have to go there by going to espn.go.com, think it maybe a DNS issue with us with their forwarding.

Hah, Chris had a call about that, I could hear him saying "ESPN IS NOT WORKING FOR ME EITHER, I CAN'T BRING IT UP FOR YOU" or something like that. Then he found the espn.go.com site. Then I tried going to espn.com and got the MSN search page which sent me to espn.com after a bit of clickage. Odd.

Yup, I'm having problems with ESPN.com. Every time I click on and read an article, it turns out that the article is complete crap.

This has been an ongoing problem for quite some time. I've checked my browser settings to see if there's something like a "competent content" filter that I need to toggle, but I couldn't find anything.

And, this seems to be happening with article after article throughout the whole site.

    Anyone else having this problem?
