Id go external, but if cant make up your mind, get internal, you can always buy a external enclosure later to make it an external drive.
When you have a specialized job with deadlines, you have to work days like these sometimes, and I will probably be working some tomorrow and Sunday as well...
external, but make sure it's USB 2.0 or FIREWIRE - I would also make sure it's a name brand. I have a MAXTOR that I trust, but I wouldn't buy some off brand. Your data is important, it should be stored on a trusted piece of equipment. otherwise, it's craaaaaaaaaap! (post a link to what you're gonna get) i'm at work too......... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I'm here but doing nothing. Our work is dictated by the mail so if the mail is running, so are we. We've finished with the morning mail run and we are waiting for the lunch mail followed by the afternoon mail. With my luck, the afternoon mail will be late and I'll miss the Texas game. Everyone here is just milling around with no work. What a waste.
Yay no work for me today, but I worked my ass off earlier this week to pull this off. I will never do that again. Aren't external way more expensive?
Yes, I am at work and doing absolutely nothing but reading posts from yesterday and last night... However, I believe I am going to be set free in another hour. Was it just me or did anyone else feel like the drive to work this morning took forever?
I have been with the same company for 11 years and we never have to work the day after thanksgiving, I also through in one of my vacation days and took off Wednesday too.
Ditto. I just found out there's only about 100 more forms for us to process and then we're free. We can knock that out in an hour or so. Looks like I'll get to see the kickoff after all. Next year because of seniority, I will have this day off. The good news is that I have New Years Eve, Day, and the day after (which is a Friday) off. 5 days off for the price of 2.
I had to be at circuit city at 5 in the morning... Now im on my break for 4 hours then at 6, I have to work again... Just a little tip, Please be nice to the sales associates etc etc, who work at these stores because they are human just like you all and they wanted to be home with their friends and families and people who come upto us and insult us for the 299 computer that sold out, well it just ruins all of our day/and probably for many people the rest of the weekend... so my request to you all if you go shopping please be polite to all of the people working to serve all of us.
I am the only one in the entire building here today. Exxon is a complete ghosttown. Just getting some extra hours in. The internet is flying today.
