Anyone catch Primetime (p*rn industry) last night?

    Did anyone see it? I thought it was a pretty interesting piece on the porno industry.

    I had a problem with the way they portrayed GM, Comcast and Time Warner as "bad guys" though. I mean, GM didn't buy Directv solely for the p*rn revenue. Fact is, other than the Playboy channel, you have to order the rest of the hardcore stuff in blocks (so ive heard;) ). The fact that they made a big deal about Comcast and Time Warner was an even bigger joke. They are cable companies for God sakes. Their job is to broadcast feeds that the public wants to see.

    The one thing that was unbelievable to me was that the actors aren't required (it almost seemed like it was discouraged) to wear condoms.

    Anyone else catch this?

    Obviously no..but I will say this...ABC showed some stuff with blurred out body parts...they showed legs in the air and played pleny of moans and groans....it was as graphic i have seen on network tv.

    The fluffer aspect of the p*rn industry has always intrigued me.

    I never could find out any information about this. Anyone know if this is just a myth?

    edit: this link is from rotten tomatoes, a web site that catalogues movie reviews. It should be a safe link from anyone's workplace, as it will just tell you about a movie about a "fluffer," without showing you a bunch of p*rn. I'm serious. I did NOT see the movie, and I heard that it was boring. But the fluffer job is apparently a real thing.

    A fluffer, supposedly, is someone who keeps actors hard between takes.

    I was watching VH1 the other day and they had this special about Jennifer Lopez, and apparently on her last video shoot she actually hired someone whose job was to be her NIPPLE TWEAKER!!!! I mean my god I'd pay all I had to be her nipple tweaker, but apparently there was a guy that got paid to get her t*** hard.

    I just found out one of the chicks in the Miller Lite commercial (Less Filling! Great Taste!) is a p*rn star. Does the whole world know?

    i heard them on Jim Rome's show today. They sounded hella annoying. I think the one that is a p*rn star supposedly is Kitana, because she plugged her site. I forgot her last name though.

    I heard them also, they sound annoying and full of themselves. They kept doing the routine, they did it with Superbowl picks, you know, "Raiders", "Buccaneers". Towards the end, one of them says "Buy Miller Lite". To funny

    My problem with the program was how Diane Sawyer attempted to combine the moral and economic issues into one.

    First she talks about how psychologically devastating it is for these innocent young women. Then she talks about how theyre being ripped off as big companies make billions while the performers make a couple of thousand. Finally, the main girl admits she made $100k per year and why she's still in the business. All the time her mother is crying and denouncing the p*rn industry. Of course the mom gets into the gig at the end when she almost becomes her personal assistant.

    No one makes these girls do p*rn. And somehow I doubt these women are on the cusp of going to medical school if it wasnt for big bad Ron Jeremy.

    They seek out the industry and then get lured by the attention and the money.

    The lesson to be learned is that if Congress could only crack down on this wildly popular legal industry, the whole world would be a better place.

    But as we all know, sex doesn't sell and doesn't permeate almost every facet of our daily lives. After all, Sarah Jessica Parker is a legitimate actress, Anna Kournikova is a legitimate Tennis player, and Brittney Spears can actually sing. :rolleyes:
