if you got the sports package, you have a chance of getting tickets.

Have you guys heard of student reserve season tickets?

It's about $40 more than the sports package but you get guaranteed seats to every home game. Better seats too.

Also, it is handled like normal season tickets. You pay half the price of the public and you also get priority like you donated a couple of bills to the Longhorn Foundation.

It's too late to get them now. On the application, you could get guaranteed tix to the OU game. Remember that next year so you won't have to wait in draw and wristband lines.

gr-8 yes i have the package, and will attempt to get lucky in the draw, but i know chances are slim

smokey i realized that as soon as i moved in and it was too late, next yr and the following two 2 yrs i will shell out the 100 bucks to get season tickets

im really just covering all bases since i know my chances off getting lucky isnt good, but anyways can anyone explain the whole wristband/draw process-for games like this only

You have to go pick up a random colored wristband at the Belmont ticket office. For the past couple of years, the start date has been kept secret. Look for information in the Daily Texan about the start date. Wristbands are passed out for 3 days. There are like three colors usually pink, blue, and green.

When the draw starts, each color is assigned a day. For example, all pink on Wed, blue on Thurs, and green on Fri. On that day you go back to Belmont and trade the wristband for a ticket. Since its OU you give them a check, CC, or cash for the amount.

Very simple. I don't think you should worry. I never had a first day wristband for Nebraska 99 and A&M 00 and was still able to get tickets. Well, not for A&M 00 since the ticket office screwed me. The Nebraska game was a lot of fun.
