    I'm kinda stupid.

Late last night/early this morning I was searching ebay for Rockets tickets at the Toyata Center.

I'm came across 2 tickets in Dallas for tomorrow's game. Club Platinum. sec 215 Row E. They were at $71 when I had my eye on them. I searched ticketmaster for similar tickets at a future game there and found the face value to be $112 each plus the extra charges.

    Anyhow for the following reasons:
    1) It's the freakin Rockets game
    2) Great deal for great seats
    3) my damn competitive nature

I won the ebay auction. I wasn't gonna let the other bidders out ebay me. My timing was perfect. $162.50 for both.

Anyhow, that brings me to my predicament. In my heat of the moment impulse buy of the tickets, I totally didn't think about anyone for the other ticket. Most of my friends are here in college at A&M. I know a bunch of guys who'd go but don't want to/can't drop the $81.25 for a ticket. And all the chicas I'd want to take can't make it cause of class/out of town/work/plans already. I've gone through my phone book. It was bad...callin up old girls I used to talk to and stuff, the ones from the Dallas area. Got the "so I'm a last resort, huh, Kim" answer a lot.

Well, I'll probably end up taking one of my buddies, and then steal $1 from him for the next 81.25 days to make up for the lack of payment.

Then Dttd suggested that I post here.

So....if anyone wants to go to the game tomorrow and is willing to drop $81.25 (or somewhere close to that...or maybe even a trade for future Rockets tickets), feel free to post here. I'm pretty chill company at a game.

    Go Rockets

oh, and um, click my profile and go to my yahoo album if you appearances matter in determining whether you can chill at a game with me. I'm cool with anyone. I'm young, but I like old sports gurus or whatever. As long as your a Rockets fan anything's good with me.

And lastly, I'm not a girl. Most of the senior members here know that, but there's a lot of knew people here. Never really cared if people knew or not before, but you know, this is kind of different cause if someone wants to go to a game with me, which I can see some people mistakening my identity and problems arising if I don't say so now.

I'd take you up on that offer, but my girlfriend works for the mavs and scored some killer seats for this game. So now I'm flying up tomorrow to go watch the game and then spend by birthday weekend up in Dallas. Look for me, I'll be the guy rooting for the Rockets in the lower bowl, three rows up!!

I meant to say, if nothing materializes, and you don't mind getting paid back later, I'm game.

I'm taking one of my roomates. Thanks though Oski. If you're interested in the future, like for Christmas break, a bunch of my buddies and I are planning to go to a game at the Toyota Center...maybe I should put together a CC.net game thingy. Where's HeyPee? He was responsible and did that stuff well.

If you posted this just a day earlier so I could have reserved a plane ticket with my frequent flyer mileage, I would have totally opted to go.
