Dunno if this is the right forum for this... I work at the skating rink in Memorial City Mall and we're REALLY hurting for people right now. We need somebody who can work pretty late into the evening (around midnight to 1:30 at the latest) for a few days a week and is strong enough to do some moderately taxing labor. Pay's not great, probably about $7/hr, but it's a pretty easy job. So if anyone, ANYONE, is interested, let me know and I can pretty much guarantee a job for the first person who wants it.
Monday - 10am to 3:15pm Tuesday - 10am to 5pm Wednesday - 10am to 3:15pm Thursday - 10am to 5pm Friday - 10am to 3:15pm, 8pm-10pm Saturday - 1:30pm-4pm Sunday - 1:30pm-4pm
Do you guys pay in cash? I really don't want to mess around with FICA and W-2s. And I also need to be able to walk away from the job at any moments notice, just wondering if that will work for you.
hows that a bad schedule, U leave late for work, and u leave early on some days bfr rush hour....i wish i could do that for my job. As for the pay.... what do u expect from that job. Student jobs in most college campuses are still minimum wage, so i say thats not that bad.
I see the rink hours closing around 5PM most days. So what kind of tomfoolery and shenanigans goes on till 1AM?
Busted. Nah... tonight I'm stuck here by myself waiting on these hockey games to end at 12:15. After that is cleaning up, ice maintenance and then ice resurfacing. I'll probably be free at 2, but it would be an hour earlier if I had an employee working with me.
I'd let you drive it... but it would have to be a shady, under-the-table kind of thing. Can't let the boss man find out. He's understandably iffy on letting many people drive it after my buddy that worked here lost two fingers to it.
I would like to offer $70 for both fingers. Or $40 for one. Am i the only one who thought the greencard joke was funny?
Would you pay me $3 an hour just to stay there with you and keep you company? I would like to get some skating in, and have a chat about the rockets.
