Anybody use WinMX?

A friend recommended it for downloading media files. He says the downloads are faster than Kazaa Lite, especially for broadband connections.

Experiences or opinions?

I like it. I don't know if it's any faster but it maybe safer than Kazaa if the RIAA isn't watching it.

I've used WinMX exclusively after the downfall of my beloved Napster. It's a terrific program even for just transferring files between friends. I'm not sure whether it is faster either. But I do know that WinMX does not contain spyware. I know at least some of the older file sharing systems installed spyware.

It's the only site I've used for over a year. I find much better downloads there than anywhere else.
