I've heard mixed reviews on both items when it comes for work out supplements, I was wondering what CF's take on these supplements were.
NO Xplode is the best pre workout supplement I've ever taken. Just don't take it in the evening until you're used to it or u will never sleep. As for creatine, I never got into it. I do know No Xplode has some creatine mixed into it.
Haven't tried NO Xplode, but I have tried creatine. If you're acne prone, creatine will just make you breakout big time. Aside from that, the only supplement I ever use is ON 100% Whey.
I've only tried NO Xplode, so I can't compare it to anything else. I do like the burst of energy I get from it.
I'm just finishing up my cycle of Creatine. I love it. It really helps if you're looking for muscle mass. I use Cell-tech. I've tried Nitric Oxide supplements but they're real expensive and to be honest I think it isn't worth it. It does feel bad ass when you're veins are popping out of your skin though.
Jacked ftw. I've heard good things about Quake too. I stick to just creatine these days... the NO thing is a useless fad, just a distraction form a good workout.
Jack3d is pre-workout... Barely any creatine. Works though. I'm going to pick up some Cell Mass tomorrow and stack those.
Today is day one for me to get back in the gym, my pre work out supp <a href="http://s74.photobucket.com/albums/i256/idunno_2006/?action=view¤t=purple.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i256/idunno_2006/purple.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> My post work out supp. <a href="http://photobucket.com/images/optimum%20nutrition%20whey" target="_blank"><img src="http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x61/bodypharmacy/optimum-nutrition-gold-standard-whe.jpg" border="0" alt="optimum-nutrition-gold-standard-whey-protein-5lb Pictures, Images and Photos"/></a> Dont Trade Oswalt, when i took creatine back in high school it made my acne 10x worse so all the supps i take i make sure have no creatine. Creatine is really good but now i gotta make my gains using other supplements.
Dead serious. I've gained about 6 pounds of lean muscle in 2 weeks. Time to start cutting fat and finally fitting into those size 33's. I'm not a supplement freak but Creatine does help get me over some plateaus.
uh, Creatine is not a protein. Whey is a form of protein that you need to help build muscle. There is no vs. Whatever you do you still need protein and Whey is a good source. I use syntha-6 BTW, good stuff.
I use to take NO Explode and Creatine, but not at the same time. Here is my take on them: NO Explode: You start off taking 2 scoops. Before long, you're up to 3 scoops. Each scoop is 100mg of caffeine, so those 3 scoops is about as much caffeine as 4 redbulls. Once I learned this, I stopped taking it, that's way too much caffeine. Don't get me wrong, the stuff works amazing, but what would you expect from 4 redbulls. If you really want to use it, go for it, but don't take more than 2 scoops and don't use it for an extended period of time. The caffeine amount may have changed, I haven't taken it in a few years. Oh, and NO Ex has creatine in it. Creatine: Unless you're trying to get huge for a real reason (sports, body building, etc), don't waste your time, money, and liver/kidney health for this. In general, yes, it's not going to kill you taking it, but unless you really need it don't risk it. I use to take it. It works, but I think eating healthy and taking alot of protein throughout the day works almost as well, and your body will thank you for it.
