ANybody know the steps to getting a DVA?

    Im trying to start my own business (since no one will hire me because of my race(white)) so my gf told me something about DVA ..anybody know how to apply for it by the county?

    He means it isn't a DVA. It's a DBA. It stands for Doing Business As.

    And there are TONS of resources regardless of your race. The Small Business Administration offers counseling, funding resources and all kinds of help.

    You can apply for them in Harris County at the courthouse. They cost about $10 and are valid for 10 years from the date of registration.
