Anybody know how Yao got the scars on his back?

It looks like someone used a whip. It looks like the scar goes from one side of his back all the way to his arm?

Rudy has been reading DaDakota's posts about needing to ride the players, and has started whipping the players in practice. It was harder to see Cato's scars, because he's dark, and Mo's because of all the tatoos cover it up. But I saw them.

Just don't tell the CBA Officials that we've been whipping Yao Ming for not getting the opening tips.

actually he was sent to Australia with the convicts on the First Fleet and was out of line demading the ball too much and got a whipping from a tail-o-nine!!

yao got scratch on his back and arms..this reminds me..jan. 17 ..is getting so close...i'll remember to pray for Yao this sunday...i hope he beat the h*ll out of Shaq..but...

Yeah, but with Shaq, it's not scratching you have to worry about - it's having an elbow or shoulder cave your chest in.

And as others have said, it was a play on which Kemp raked him... that sad thug.

you know. I noticed he wasn't wearing his girlfriend's red bracelet, either. Is that just coincidence. Or is there a connection between the scratches on his back, and Yao discarding the bracelet.

I swore 5 or 6 years ago never play bball with guys with long

The Kemp story is just a cover up. I heard that Yao and Eddie got into a scuffle before the game over who was going to get to do the jump ball at tipoff.
