Houston and surrounding areas of course I need a vehicle towed out of my drive way, but I dont want to pay. who do I call? there has to be some. if you park infront of someones house down the street from a club, wreckers come out and tow immediately basically i need someone that wants the "scraps and metal" and tows for free oh yeah, one more thing, I wont be home. This needs to be done now because of deeds, and Im on vacation for 3 weeks.
That's only because they know the owner is going to have to pay them to get their car back. Are you trying to get rid of the car? Call a junkyard. Sell them the car for scrap and they'll take it away.
if i call the junkyard, youd think they want to take it for free, since they can sell the scrap, makes no sense to have to pay THEM, only for them to make money AGAIN does junkyard even have a wrecker? im sure there is someone on here that knows someone in the wrecker field...take my car. its FREE. its worth $6000. forget scraps, if you tow it, you can sell it for $6000 why is this so hard for wrecker services to do? youd think they want a free $6000 blue book car oh yeah, why i want it gone, thats secret
right, but some times the owner doesnt pay, some times the owner never figures out where the car was even towed to, sometimes, the wrecker fee is like $400 and the car might be so old, its not even worth it okay, anybody on here with a wrecker truck, im offering a car for free that has a bluebook of 6000$ i hate this thing and want it gone i cant take it to a junkyard because then id have no way of getting home.plus it has no gas in it
intesting. i was thinking just call on my cell phone and give them information, i assumed that be enough right? worse case scenario, the wrecker shows up (they all do when they get a call right?) and puts a boot on it for me not paying him right?

What is the year, make, model, mileage? What is wrong with it? Do you own the title? You could possibly actually sell it to a salvage yard (i.e. they will pay you money and will tow it for free), depending on what you have. If you can give me the info, I can give you some contacts I have.
well actually i think its horrible, its a crappy red galant 4 door and i put bank stickers on the back window that wont come off....it has small dents, small rust, runs fine, no leaks , no freeon, its probably worth about $2000 since i didnt take car of it i was going to do craigslist, but im thinking deeds may tow it for free? im not home a neighbor of mine that takes car of the house got the notice... this sucks
What information? Like license plate number? What's to prevent people from being jackasses and getting their neighbors car towed? Being there physically to hand over the keys would also be a good thing, especially if donating to the CAN Academy, if they're thinking of selling the car at auction.

i got a better idea, since this is on the south side, when my vacation is up, ill goto telephone road/almeda area and talk to those yard people,tell them my address and see what can be done deeds told me they will put a boot on it ifs it not gone asap. it may have a boot on it by the time the wrecker shows up all i know is one of you had a chance to be nice and get a free car but then in order to receive the title , youd have to goto tax office, pay taxes ,they now go by the top level bluebook value, then youd have to get it inspected(did i mention it wont pass inspection) then youd have to get insurance, did i mention you cant even get the paper work at tax office unless you prove its been inspected. Then you have to drive it around town on your own trying to find a guy to inspect it for you, repair it for you to pass inspection, all while having no insurance, and no title because Im NOT coming along with you, because I dont want tickets driving an uninspected car. So drive at your own risk. You get pulled over, you stole it.This is the information the tax office told me. So in order to get a $2000 piece of crap car, you have to pay ruffly, $700 in taxes for a good condition blue book value, + insurance + inspection+gas money+ repairs to pass inspection(could be catalyitc convertor) Your looking at spending $2000 just to bring it home even If I sell it for FREE. Which I asked the tax office If I could do this and they said NO. I must sell it for "reasonable value". So your looking at spending $4000 total(to me 2000) just to bring home a piec e of crap. Now you know why I cant sell it.
