lakers fans would give vlad rad off for a bag of chips like most of us wanna do with head.

odom is a good player, but he's not the player they want anymore with how he struggled at tiems throughout the year and the finals.

turiaf is dispensable as they have an abundance of big men.

    fisher, kobe, tmac, gasol, odom

bench - sash, farmar, mihm, walton

*******, no way we do that.

i meant bynum as in odom. no way our team is that stupid (it's like the pau gasol robbery part 2). if the lakers do indeed make this happen, this league is rigged.

kobe is slowly becoming more of a team player; tmac is already a team player. can you imagine those guys creating for their big men? they might break the 72-10 record by the bulls.

please, lakers fans are dreaming. don't post this garbage and this might spiral into a "real" rumor.

I am sure Morey is not an idiot. He wants to bring Championship here, he doesn't want to give it to LA instead.

    No way this could happen

This sounds as stupid as some of the trade ideas we have on this forum. Fans need to realize that a bunch of scrubs added together does not equal a star player. In the NBA, 1+1 doesn't always equal 2.

I am tired of all the trade T-Mac posts. What we need is a third scorer. If there is a reasonable TMac we have to get two scorers out of it.
A star like T-Mac is hard to trade cause another team will have to give up good player in return. The Lakers getting Gasol for Kwame Brown and extras was lopsided, the Rockets would never do something like that.

Even assuming Rockets want to trade McGrady, and think a deal centered around Odom is a good idea, I don't know why:

    1. Morey would eat Radmanovich's salary.

    2. Morey would want to add another PF and 2 more PF/SF to a team that already has 3 pretty good PFs.

    3. Morey would want 3 guys for 1 with when there are hardly any roster spots left on the team.

why dont we add some supporting cast instead of trading away one of our best players for other people's junk.

seriously. get tmac/yao some help and then see what happens.

we didnt even freaking have yao in this year's playoffs!

Then they had the audacity to think we should also throw in our 1st rounder, lol. Pure idiocy. After looking at a few of the other threads on that board, I don't feel as insulted. There seems to be some brain power lacking with a large number of those guys. Just check out this bumped thread from 2005 where so many guys said they wouldn't trade Odom for Paul Pierce. One guy even went as far as to suggest that if the Celtics threw in Jefferson and Perkins he would consider it. Genius ;)

Morey would b****slap Kupchak if ever he offered this deal. Why not add Yao, too? He must think all GM's in the Southwest division have Chris Wallace Disorder. T-Mac and Kobe on one team would be pretty sick, though.

That's worse highway robbery than Gasol.

T-Mac is actually a bonafide superstar, Gasol is just an all-star.

Morey would have to be smoking crack to make this deal.

Hey Lakers, nothing less than Kobe for T-Mac!

These Lakers fans are idiots. No way we're giving up the heart of our team for their trash.

Why would we hand the Lakers another dynasty? People think Allen - Garnett - Pierce is crazy; can you even begin to comprehend what Kobe - McGrady - Gasol could accomplish?
