I know that the jersey will be only good for one year, but hey I want one to go along with my Griffin jersey. When Carr got drafted by the Texans, his jerseys went on sale the next day, but then again, the Texans ANNOUNCED that they were going to draft him way before hand. If anybody sees it for sale, give me the heads up. More than likely they will be selling these at the NBA store, hopefully, I will get the chance to go there while i am in NY.

You might be able to get a YAO replica jersey. If you want a Ming jersey, you'll have to get a blank pinstripes jersey and get someone to sew Ming on.

The name is Mr. Ming Yao.

For the record I read in one of the Chronicle articles that the jersey on the back will say "Yao Ming" -- his FULL Name, not just "Yao." And of course his jersey will be #11.

I am a bit surprised that the jersey did not go on sale the next day like the David Carr Texans jersey.

I would think they would want to fast track this item so they could sell it in China and Houston RIGHT NOW - strike while the iron's hot!

My wife already wants me to get her one. Hopefully they will be on sale soon.

If they go on sale on NBA.com or something someone please post a note about it in this forum! Thanks!

I think they have to wait until he is officially signed on the dotted line.

Hey Dave, where did you get your Griffin jersey and would you be interested in selling yours?

Actually LAfadeaway, I got the jersey at, out of all places, Marshalls here in Houston. I got the jersey for only $10!!!! Someone on the BBS mention bout this bout 2 months ago and flew out the house and bought one. Sorry, I love the jersey and feel special for having one because I dont see many people get one. I know you can buy one at NBA.com for like $45. If you are in Houston, I really doubt that there would be any more Griffin jerseys anywhere. Sorry bout that, I should have post a thread bout it when I found it.

If you want to be one of the first in Houston with a Yao jersey, just order a customized replica from Eastbay or anyone of those online stores.

As I stated above, I was a lucky b*stard to buy this for $10 at Marshalls. :D

BTW, I went to the NBA store last week while I was on vacation in NYC, and they didnt have them yet. The only way to get it is to purchase a customize jersey.
