it's a shame that we have to ask this question (actually par for the course for the rockets this season), but has anyone heard whether or not steve will play tonight?

with the battery of tests he has undergone with his migraine problems, i wonder if he'll be cleared to play. anyone heard anything?

I doubt he'll miss an opportunity to kick some jazzhole ass.

I would expect after the last outting with the Jazz, Steve is ready to show everyone what they missed when Joey Crawford took it upon himself to remove Steve from the game.

Personally, I hope Steve drops 50 on 'em, just to let them know what they missed last time.

    However, the reports are that:

Willis is not with the team, as there is "family business" he had to deal with.
Moochie and Cato are experiencing "flu symptoms," but expected to play.

    Nothing fatal, but still!

I'm almost positive Steve won't fo as well this time. They've had a warning, they know what can come of not double teaming Steve. We should look to Cat and KT and/or Griffin.

    thanx for the input guys.

as for francis not being able to duplicate what he did against stockton the last time around, he just may be able to. utah's philosophy is well known around the league - they don't change. even against powerful players ala shaq, duncan, etc. they will NOT double team. the spurs and lakers consistenly take them behind the wood shed and spank that ass, but the jazz refuse to change strategy. what have the spurs won, like eight in a row over utah??? but utah just won't change strategies.

so don't expect for them to abandon ship tonight, either. my money's on utah single covering steve with stockton and forcing him to beat them. if he's hitting, he might go for 40.

if he isn't, he just has to be careful of forcing...
