TVU doesn't carry it, and it is the player that carries the most American TV channels. Any other streaming players? Appreciate the help.

Yes, you should! and that's free. These guys just put everything, TNT, ESPN, NBATV, ..., you name it, on web, and that's free :D
And I am also very surprised the video quality is pretty good.

That's is because SopCast is a goodie from China, and they add these NBA channels on it simply because of Yao. So you did not hear it before Yao joined Rockets. Actually SopCast focuses on these games related with Rockets. Though it does show some other NBA games if no Rockets involved, (like the 2 opening games Tuesday night), but definitely not a lot. So just feel lucky to be a Rockets fun.

I don't think so. You can broadcast your own channel with sopcast. As a result, someone with too much time in their hands just broadcast whatever channel think people would like to watch, like some Brasil channels, Italian, Indian, Korean...... You know, there are more soccer fans on the world than bball fans.

The key is that the end users can create their own channels.
