A Few weeks ago, John Digweed was here playin MBar. That night I heard a song a played that I cant shake.....Ive searched everywhere....U NEED YOUR HELP IF POSSIBLE.

The song is a trance version of the old "San Francisco" love song done way back (I'm think late 60's, Haight-Ashbury days)

Lyrics "If your to going to San Fran-cisco, make sure and wear some flowers in your hair"

    Hope that helps

So it's a version of "San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Some Flowers In Your Hair)," by Scott nMcKenzie? (written by John Phillips, btw)

If you're going to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you're going to San Francisco
You're gonna meet some gentle people there

For those who come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there
In the streets of San Francisco
Gentle people with flowers in their hair

All across the nation such a strange vibration
    People in motion
There's a whole generation with a new explanation
People in motion people in motion

For those who come to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there

If you come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there

From the summer of '67, and pretty goofy lyrics. At least I thought so, at the time. I can't find a trance version. Good luck!

edit: you found it! I'll have to check it out.

edit: Hey, I checked out your page. Really cool! I see what you mean about the song, it kinda gets in your head. Reminds of that flick, Strange Days. You see it?

    Keep D&D Civil and Musical
