Why does Hakeem being on IR prevent him from being traded? The other team does have the right to make Hakeem take a physical, but they can also waive that right. Remember when the Stoudamire trade happened? Kenny Anderson refused to take his physical with Toronto and the Raptors waived the physical. I think Jeff is right because I read in the Sporting News that Orlando is mad because Lakers stashed Tyronne Lue on IL The Magic want him as a back up PG and cannot do anything [sign or trade for him] Rocket River ------------------
