I posted this earlier, but it never appeared. If it appears twice, my apologies. I just moved to Denver, CO and Rockets fans are hard to come by. I'm looking for a group that gets together occasionally to watch Rockets games (or anyone willing to).
I lived in Denver for a few years and basketball fans are hard to come by, to say nothing of Rockets fans. I felt like I'd landed in the basketball equivalent of Siberia. My solution: DirecTV with NBA League Pass and trying to teach my girlfriend how to appreciate the game with me. Good luck. At least you can go skiing on a whim. ------------------
I went to a Rockets v. Nuggets game last year in Denver, and I'm pretty sure I was the only Rockets fan in the building. Good luck. ------------------ Is it any coincidence that the Cato is the only Rocket with a temperature scale named after him? I didnt think so!!!!
With the Broncos and the Avs contending every year, and the Rockies always playing exciting ball, the Nuggets are kind of swept under the rug unfortunately. That said, almost all TRUE basketball fans here are Nugs fans. ------------------ Nuggets4 The Pinnacle - Rising to the Top With the Denver Nuggets http://www.NugsPinnacle.com
And one of those fans (NugzFan) actually lives in Michigan too! lol ------------------ Nuggets4 The Pinnacle - Rising to the Top With the Denver Nuggets http://www.NugsPinnacle.com
No joke. Not only are they not fans of the sport, most of them hate it - at least the people I hang out with do. Unfortunately, that requires two things I don't have: money and a girlfriend. ------------------
